Sienna’s Story...

“Having the role of co-organiser for the SIBZ group is a fantastic opportunity. From day one you can see how much the children have changed and opened up. That’s important because it’s really common to see those with a sibling with autism in their home environment feel insecure. I think seeing them relax and have fun is really good for their emotional development.

This alone makes SIBZ a worthwhile group, and I know our members think the same too. Part of my job as co-organiser is to talk to the SIBZ members and ask them what they want from the group. I then try and put this into action. I personally think SIBZ has been fantastic so far and I hope that we get bigger and better in order to help the children get the most out of life.”
